Painting and drawing have been a passion and expression of mine for most of my life. I graduated with a diploma in 1986 at The Fraser Valley College in Abbotsford, B.C. in the painting and printmaking program. I have worked in different mediums over the years; oils, acrylics, pastels, graphite, pen and ink, displaying my works in various galleries in British Columbia along with many commissions. Developing into a pastel artist almost exclusively now, I love to explore with the soft dry pigments, blending colors, creating different textures while trying to balance realism with impressionism. 

  I currently live in the South Okanagan, British Columbia and am captivated by the diverse beauty this part of the world has to offer. The natural settings are very inspirational to the artist's eye. Rugged landscapes, peaceful settings, wild horses... This website contains some of my recent paintings in soft pastel.
